Ok, so this gadget isn't something you can buy for yourself (well, not just yet, anyway) but it's so cool we had to tell you about it anyway.
Google engineer Max Braun decided he'd quite like a smart bathroom mirror. But despite there being a few custom builds out there, no-one was selling the product he was after. So he did what any good Google engineer would do and built one himself.
Using a two-way mirror, a bunch of components and some arts and crafts supplies, Braun came up with this bit of kit.
His smart mirror includes displays for the current weather and a 24-hour forecast, the time and date (just in case you're prone to forgetting what day of the week it is - we've all done it) and some recent news headlines. Yes, you can now check your trading news while you brush your teeth. Talk about multitasking.
Braun is also planning to add traffic updates, reminders, and basically anything that uses a Google Now card. He's still experimenting with his smart mirror, which he describes as "a work in progress", so you won't be able to get your hands on one for a while (unless you fancy having a go at your own custom build). But we're already excited for the day we can check the charts from our bathrooms...
