Last week we featured the news that several traders are among the rowers joining Team GB Olympian Alex Gregory on an epic journey across the Balearic Sea in an effort to raise money and awareness for the NOMAN Is An Island charity and its aim end HPV - a virus responsible for 5% of all cancers.
Today those traders have begun their gruelling race, estimated to take them over 70 hours of non-stop rowing, and we've received the first exclusive pictures of the team in the final moments before setting off from Barcelona to Ibiza. Check out the gallery above.
As a dad to two boys and a girl this race is incredibly important to me as I want to help raise awareness that boys as well as girls must be given the HPV vaccination if we are to win the race to end 5% of all cancers caused by HPV.
Nobody should die or become seriously ill from a cancer that could so easily have been prevented by a simple vaccination.Alex Gregory MBE
