Around the World in 80 Trades: #2 St Peter Port, Guernsey

Following our new feature's debut in sunny Sorrento (view it here), our global quest continues apace with another new entry as we attempt to imitate Phileas Fogg while adding a trading twist.

This time we welcome swing trader Matt Munroe, who has been in touch from his own personal on-the-road trading hub - the Duke of Richmond hotel bar in St Peter Port, Guernsey - where a glass of white provided the perfect accompaniment to a dive into the crypto market...

The Duke of Richmond Hotel is bang in the heart of St Peter Port in Guernsey, so it’s a great place for a few drinks and - with good wifi connection - a dabble in the markets.

As a swing trader I go for everything from cyptos or equities to indexes. I like to swap around, the key being to look for patterns to hold for a couple of days to a couple of weeks.

And with the new cryptos having had some movement lately, Litecoin in particular seems a good longer play to get involved in. The Chablis certainly helped me place the trade!Matt Munroe, Swing trader

Where is the best, strangest or funniest place you've ever traded? Send us your entries to us on Twitter, Instagram or by email to feature in our Around the World in 80 Trades series!
